2023 was an awesome year for ChatGPT.
If you haven’t been keeping up to speed, here’s a mere handful of the ways everyone’s favorite AI has been improved since January:
But that’s just the start.

Because according to OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, ChatGPT will be getting some serious upgrades next year.
Here’s a list of the ones we’re most excited about.
While ChatGPT is great, one area where is struggles is making strong, concrete arguments.
As an example, earlier today I asked it to provide a ballpark tax estimate for me based on my situation. On the surface, its responses sounded accurate. But because I know the tax rules, I had to correct it twice. Which, after doing so, had a dramatic effect on my supposed tax bill.

Now, for obvious reasons, you shouldn’t be using ChatGPT to do your taxes.
But this is just one example of how in many cases, ChatGPT will provide a response that sounds authoritative, but is factually inaccurate.
And because of that, it can be dangerous to depend on ChatGPT for anything. But if OpenAI can make it more accurate, it would be a huge step toward making ChatGPT a more reliable resource for the general public.
Between TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram (basically) becoming a video platform, it’s clear consumers have a voracious appetite for video content.
But as of today, ChatGPT’s only video capability involves processing YouTube transcripts (which is basically another form of text analysis and has nothing to do with actual video files).

According to Sam Altman, however, ChatGPT will be able to both process and generate videos in 2024. Given how insane the public went over Pika Labs’ text-to-video trailer in November, it’s clear AI video generation is going to be a huge money maker for these companies. And we’re all for it.
I’ll admit, I’m not the biggest Alexa / Siri / voice user.
But when you combine AI with advanced voice recognition, the potential use cases are pretty impressive.

As an example, consider the following:
From free therapy to language learning, the possibilities are endless.
💡Wrap Up: SaaS products are iterated and improved upon based on customer feedback. And according to various videos and interviews, it appears ChatGPT users requested - and are about to get - multiple upgrades related to video, voice, and improved experience when requesting text via ChatGPT.
🤔Thought-Provoking Question: What upgrade would you like to see OpenAI make to ChatGPT in 2024?
