750 Words | 3 min 7 Sec Read Welcome to another issue of Geek AI. Today we'll be discussing three of the most awesome, underground AI apps on the market right now. While ChatGPT, Gemini and Sora get heaps of media attention, the truth is there are thousands of AI apps beyond the most famous ones. Sure, many of them are secretly running OpenAI or Stable Diffusion under the hood. But in some cases, the founders built custom AIs that - because they're configured for a specific use case - deliver higher quality output compared to their more generic (and more well-known) counterparts. Let’s dive in. This issue is sponsored by us - Geek AI Overwhelmed by all this AI stuff? No idea where to start? Meet AI Beginner Bootcamp: A once/week live training program where we'll show you how to use today's most important artificial intelligence apps. From ChatGPT to Midjourney, our coaches will take you from beginner to advanced using simple, clear language. No tech jargon allowed. Interested? Click here to learn more! #1 - SDXL LightningIf you're unfamiliar with it, SD is the abbreviation for image generator and Midjourney/DALLE competitor Stable Diffusion. If you have experience using image generators, you know just how frustrating it can be to wait 15-30 seconds just to get a set of images back. Especially when you need to create a dozen or more at once. SDXL Lightning, however, processes images in a matter of milliseconds. And because of that, using it instead of a tool like Midjourney can dramatically speed up your content creation efforts. Unfortunately, SD is meant to be installed and run on a server / your local machine. But you can demo its abilities here for free. #2 - KomeIn the past, one of my all-time favorite content creation hacks was taking YouTube videos and having Gemini analyze them to create a summary (which I then use as a jumping-off point for writing). The only problem? While I was a huge fan of Bard, and sang Gemini's praises as little as one short month ago, it has a bad habit of not following instructions. And because of that, getting the content I want - in the style and format I want - can take so much prompting it's not even worth it. With that said, it's not that this strategy doesn't work (it does). The problem is Gemini not obeying our prompts. So, what you can do is use Kome.ai to convert the YouTube video's transcript into plain text. From there, you can copy-paste the transcript into an alternative AI text generator (like ChatGPT 4) - with the same prompt you would have used on Gemini - to get a better output. #3 - BurnerPageOne of the biggest challenges in an online business is turning website visitors into customers, clients or patients. In fact, on average, 99 out of every 100 people who visit a website do not buy anything. On the positive side, a practice known as Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) can help increase that percentage. On the down side, running these tests requires a skillset very few people have. To the point many of today's highest-traffic websites don't perform CRO despite knowing how much it could help them increase revenue. With BurnerPage, however, you can outsource the CRO process to an AI. How? Conversion Rate Optimization involves defining an objective (e.g. generating a lead or making a sale), and then testing graphic design and copywriting elements to see if one of the tests converts a higher percentage of visitors. While CRO experts implement this process manually, BurnerPage uses AI to identify which elements have the highest likelihood of improving conversions. Even better, once it identifies those elements, it tests them and analyzes the performance to identify a winner. Last, after it identifies a winner, it turns it into the new baseline while launching a new test. Which, in theory, creates an upward spiral of continually improving conversion rates. 💡Wrap Up: While apps like ChatGPT and Midjourney get all the publicity, there are hundreds of highly useful, underground apps nobody is talking about. And in many cases, they're fine-tuned for specific use cases, making them more functional than their more famous competitors. 🤔Thought-Provoking Question: What is your monthly budget for AI tools?
